This large statement necklace is inspired by Ancient Egyptian style collar bib necklaces but combined with contemporary shapes and bold colours.
Designed from a hand illustrated image, the original, loose, free flowing lines and shapes have been incorporated in the style of this necklace to create an organic and relaxed piece of jewellery.
Created with an influence floral petals, the extremities of the necklace are painted in bright, forest green with contrasting mustard yellow circle ‘jewels’. The inner bands of the necklace are painted in almond cream and summer orange, creating a fresh and contemporary piece of jewellery.
Laser cut from sustainable birch and hand painted. The necklace is sealed with a protective enamel finish.
Size: H 7cm x W 10.5cm x 3.5mm.
Findings: Silver plated findings and chain with lobster clasp fasten. Findings are responsibly sourced from a UK company who visit overseas factories to ensure fair working conditions for workers. Sterling silver, stamped 925 necklace, sourced from Italy available in options. Chain length 55cm including 2.5cm extension. Altered chain length available upon request.

Amy Hall is a designer, jewellery maker, illustrator and general crafter based in Leeds, West Yorkshire.
All Red Paper House items are made by Amy in her top floor studio, over the watchful eye of cats Cleo and Misty (who are not the best of friends).

Pieces are laser cut in the UK from sustainable birch wood, hand painted – sometimes hand illustrated and always sealed with a protective enamel finish. Jewellery findings are responsibly sourced from a UK based company who ensure fair working conditions for workers at their suppliers’ factories.
Amy lives with her musical partner with whom she shares her creative space.
Alongside jewellery making Amy has also been a workshop leader and VA at Leeds Art Gallery and worked as a Learning Support Assistant with East Street Arts and Leeds College of Art.
Amy now runs Red Paper House full time, exploring crafts and art shows, alongside a selection of national and international stockists and exhibitions.
On occasional days off you may find Amy rummaging through local charity shops or strolling in the countryside.
